Inspiring Entrepreneurship is presented by The Young Entrepreneur Society of Victoria, (YES Group), a local non-profit society dedicated to helping entrepreneurs succeed and committed to helping the local economy prosper.

The conference is for anyone who is considering opening a business, anyone who provides services to business start-ups, successful business owners and managers looking for inspiration and investors looking for excellent opportunities to connect with potential partners. The forum will inspire you to start that business you have been dreaming of or expand the business you already operate. It will help you rekindle the passion that got you started in the first place and connect you to the people who can help you achieve your goals.

World-renowned economic and entrepreneurship development expert and author Dr. Ernesto Sirolli will be delivering Opening Remarks as well as the Lunch Keynote Address and will be at the closing reception to meet the delegates. Dr. Ernesto Sirolli is one of the world’s leading authorities on the topic of local economic development. He started working in the field of International Aid in Africa in 1971 and has since worked globally in projects to promote local entrepreneurship and local self-determination. Dr. Sirolli resides in the USA where he was invited to establish the Sirolli Institute in 1996, a social enterprise that teaches civic leaders and entrepreneurs not to let a single ounce of local intelligence go to waste. He has helped thousands of entrepreneurs all around the world create successful lives and business enterprises.

The forum will feature a wide variety of panel presenters speaking on topics of interest to entrepreneurs at any stage of their business venture. Please come prepared to join in the discussion.

We are offering the opportunity for participants to set up a booth and tell their story directly to the forum delegates. The cost for a skirted table is $200.00 and we are providing extended breaks for delegates to visit your booth. Created and orchestrated by the Victoria YES group (Young Entrepreneurs Society), the 9th annual Fashion For a Cure event brings together our community and local businesses to fund-raise for the The Children’s Health Foundation of Vancouver Island to support our families and children on this island. Money raised goes to support countless programs, facilities, and specialized equipment. Resources are focused on removing barriers and creating opportunities for children and youth facing physical, developmental or mental health challenges.

Every year we chose a new theme, this years theme is Femme Fatale, inspired by the many powerful women and mothers around the world. You are encouraged to dress fierce! Think James Bond 007, ladies and gentlemen. There will also be blackjack and roulette tables to play at the event.
