Mission Statement

designHouse Salon promotes beauty through health to our clients in a holistic manner with memorable customer service. dH Salon maintains a salon environment of mutual consideration and respect, loyalty, ethics, and positive energy. The dH team is dedicated to continued professional development, education, artistic expression, inclusiveness, and community involvement. dH Salon practices a 5 elements approach to client evaluation, marketing, design, business philosophy and is at the heart of our Holistic Beauty Service Delivery Model theory called Health5.

Health5 – Holistic Beauty Service Delivery Model Theory

Plato defined beauty as the “harmony of parts as seen in the whole”.

The World Health Organization defines health as “a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity”.

Holistic is defined as “the treatment of the whole person, taking into account mental and social factors, rather than just the physical”.

According to the designHouse Holistic Beauty Service Delivery Model – Health5; the client is evaluated in a holistic manner, considering that the well-being of the mind, body, and soul are interconnected and unified in health and that the harmony of these parts creates beauty. Therefore, multiple dH holistic beauty practitioners, using their specific health modalities, work together as a team to promote a client’s beauty through creating health which is a state of harmony between the mind, body, and soul.

Health is Beautiful !!
